This project focused on developing a brand identity for an ice cream shop aimed at appealing to the local community while showcasing its distinctive flavor profiles. The brand name was derived from the Māori language, connecting the brand to New Zealand's indigenous culture. Additionally, the pronunciation resonates with English speakers, evoking the word "creamy," which aligns with the quality of the ice cream.
The graphic elements were designed with a consistent line art style to maintain brand coherence, while each flavor featured illustrations of its key ingredients. This approach reinforces the brand’s connection to its products. The font choice for the brand’s wordmark reflects the playful and artisanal nature of the ice cream.
The color palette varies with each flavor, aligning with the specific ingredients used, thus visually representing the unique combinations that the ice cream offers.
